Bluegrass & BBQ
Bluegrass & BBQ, the biggest one day event that Best-One Tire Nashville has coordinated in 8 years, was a total success! We saw over 200 people at the event under gorgeous skies. “Despite a plague of locusts of biblical proportions, everyone present had a good time,” said Brant Taylor, Disrict Director. Congratulations to the winners of our cornhole tournament, Marc Rossi and Kyle Slagner. It pays to be a Best-One Tire customer! Without great customers, none of this would be possible. Our customers are the BEST, and you guys make our careers so worthwhile.
Thanks to everyone, the community, customers, employees, vendors and more! We look forward to seeing you at the next Best-One Tire function!

BEST-ONE TIRE’S “CAPS 4 a CAUSE” PUTS CHARITY IN MOTION
(Nashville, TN) Best-One Tire of Nashville is proud to unveil a completely unique way to give back to the community. “Caps 4 a Cause,” is a new line of pre-packaged universal tire valve stem caps available only at the four Best-One Tire locations in Nashville and Goodlettsville. Net proceeds from these orange metallic caps benefit Hands On Nashville (HON). “Best-One Tire is thrilled to help a cause so important to us and our customers through this one of a kind product,” announced Brant Taylor, District Manager of Best-One Tire and Service Nashville.
Available only at the four Best-One Tire & Service Centers, the caps retails for $5.00 with $2.50 in net profits going to HON. “Caps4aCause” not only financially supports HON, it also offers our customers a unique way to raise awareness daily as they drive down the road with their colored caps on their tires, “ said Taylor. “It is amazing to take something so small and impact so many. It is literally charity in motion.”
“The generosity of Best-One Tire of Nashville will help support Hands On Nashville’s mission to connect Middle Tennessee volunteers to opportunities 365 days a year,” said Brian Williams, executive director of Hands On Nashville. Best-One Tire & Service began its relationship with HON during the flood disaster in May of 2010. Best One Tire employees personally committed to the cause with their time, resources, and physical efforts.
Celebrating its 20th year as Middle Tennessee’s volunteer resource center, Hands On Nashville’s mission is to meet community need through volunteerism. HON connects volunteers to nonprofits, schools, and other organizations that need them. In 2010, HON connected nearly 200,000 volunteers with service opportunities, facilitating volunteer work for 737 Middle Tennessee nonprofits, schools, government agencies, faith-based organizations, civic groups and businesses. HON volunteers support 25 issue areas ranging from hunger and homelessness to at-risk youth and seniors in need. For more information, visit www.hon.org or call (615) 298-1108.

Hands On
Best One Nashville believes in giving back to it’s community. Each month, our team of employees volunteer at various community functions and efforts throughout Nashville. We see it as our responsibility to do what we can to contribute back to our local community and we encourage others to get involved. Albert Einstein said that “The value of a man resides in what he gives and not in what he is capable of receiving.” At Best One, we adhere to this ideal and are committed to giving back to the community that gives so much of itself to us.
Throughout Nashville, there are some great volunteering opportunities and organizations working behind the scenes every day to make the wheels of our community go round. After school programs, teaching kids values, skills, and ideals to promote healthy practices and life success; hands-on opportunities putting the strong backs of Nashville to work to build playgrounds, landscape parks, and rebuild after disasters; counselors, coaches, mentors, all using their personalities and intellect to enrich not only our youth, but our adult and elderly community as well. Hands On Nashville is such an organization that offers a virtually limitless variety of volunteer opportunities to become involved with.

In the recent flooding disaster, the Best One Volunteer Team is moving into action to help aide in the relief effort. We have partnered with the Salvation Army to become a certified donation center to gather items for flood victims. You can visit any of our centers to make a donation of needed items which are listed at the bottom of this page. We are also accepting monetary donations for the flood relief effort at our retail counters, and these are tax deductible. Please give whatever you can. The relief effort must continue for long after the news stops showing the tragedy. It takes many months to recover from a flood disaster, and the damage lasts long after the waters recede.
If you would like to get involved with the Best One Volunteer Team, please send an email to comments@bestonetire.com today, and be part of the impact to our community. By ourselves, we can accomplish little, but together we can accomplish anything.
